# AgentOS

> AgentOS is a local-first AI desktop workspace for macOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11, published by Namtech Pte. Ltd. (Singapore). Your files and data stay on your machine; the AI runs on AgentOS servers in Singapore, and each request sends only your question plus a text excerpt of up to 16,000 characters.

## Key facts

- Your files and data stay on your machine. Text is extracted on your own computer; an AI request sends only your question plus a text excerpt capped at 16,000 characters. The original files never leave.
- The AI runs on AgentOS servers in Singapore: Node #1 on Google Cloud (region asia-southeast1) with one NVIDIA L4 GPU, engine Ollama. The one live model is qwen2.5:14b.
- Prompts, answers and the excerpt are processed to produce the answer and are designed not to be kept afterwards — zero-retention by design, verification still in progress.
- One window bundles eight apps (Files, AI Chat, Accounting, Marketing Content, Email, CRM — Customers, AI Notes, Translation) that share one token pool.
- Every install gets a free daily grant of 20,000 tokens. Pricing is indicative and billed in SGD; the product is pre-launch and payment is not wired yet.
- AOS Node: registering your own Mac or GCP instance to run AgentOS AI compute is the programme AgentOS is built around. It is not open yet — today AgentOS’s own node answers every request.
- On the roadmap, not available yet: one AI agent per department (department data would stay on your machine).

- Câu hỏi, câu trả lời và đoạn trích được xử lý để tạo câu trả lời và được thiết kế để không lưu lại sau đó — thiết kế zero-retention, đang hoàn thiện kiểm chứng.
- Một cửa sổ gồm tám ứng dụng (Files, AI Chat, Accounting, Marketing Content, Email, CRM — Customers, AI Notes, Translation) dùng chung một kho token.
- Mỗi lần cài nhận 20.000 token miễn phí mỗi ngày. Giá mang tính tham khảo, tính theo SGD; sản phẩm đang ở giai đoạn trước ra mắt và chưa kết nối thanh toán.
- AOS Node: đăng ký máy Mac hoặc máy chủ GCP của bạn để chạy compute AI cho AgentOS là chương trình AgentOS hướng tới. Chương trình chưa mở — hiện mọi yêu cầu do node của chính AgentOS trả lời.
- Trong lộ trình, chưa có: mỗi phòng ban một AI agent (dữ liệu phòng ban sẽ nằm trên máy bạn).
